Keeping current on UBS

UBS sold stock without permission,and are hiding behind the statute of limitations.I f they sell your stock when someone not on the account gives an order to sell,they should be held accountable.,regardless of the time frame.

Too much Fee charged Annually, each transaction and even if you decided to leave

One of the worst financial Institution out in the market when compared to others. I have to move all my Brokerage account from Wells Fargo as I accepted an employment with UBS. They put me in RMA account since I do trade, however my actual trade transaction was less than 10 annually. Also for each trade they charged up to $250/transaction, on top they charge $175 Annual fee and when I decided to move my accounts, they charge another $95/account transfer fee. Basically most of my account went negative balance due to fees on top of all my investment value decreased to 95% as I was scared to even trade, since every trade has huge charges as compared to Wells Trade which have zero trading fee or commission.

Jumping through hoops after parents passed away

Even though all other assets have been distributed as per the will and verification by the family attorney, USB is playing word games with "Executor". UBS investment will have to go to probate court to officially designate a Personal Representative, new term for Executor. The attorney will begin paperwork to be filed, I must sign and have notarized (snail mail) and he will file with the court. The "will" was written in 2016 and updated in 2020 to avoid probate. Now, Probate has to be performed just to satisfy USB. Spend money to get money!

My wife had an account in Beverly Hills,at her then husbands request,her agent sold her stock without telling her,she found out when she got her statement,after numerous calls to the office,and customer complaint,it is still not resolved.The account was also closed.This concerned Apple stock,bought in 2001.

Requested the sale of stocks on the 18th not sold until the 23rd asked for express delivery on check they sent it regular mail causing issues for me. their site is sad almost allways issues logging in

Poor service

I had a problem with the wire transfer, and asked for a manager to give me a call. They told me it would take 24 to 48 hours. It’s been over a week. Apparently, from my experience, UPS doesn’t care about their customers. My first financial advisor never called me to review things or set up a time to go over my investment objectives. Then they put me into some other type of account, where I would be handled by a “team of people.” What the *** One time I was supposed to get a call back from somebody on this so-called “team,” and it never happened. Now I have this clown of a manager not calling me back. Then they have the gall to charge a fee every year for their lack of service? Really? I would recommend you do business with a financial services firm other than UBS. Preferably find a firm that’s more professional and really cares about their customers.

Verify account closure

I received Patrick's acknowledgement of my account closure AFTER I called you. I don't know what caused the transmission delay but the date/time stamp shows that he sent it almost as soon as he received it. That doesn't obviate the rest of his behavior as my financial advisor but it does resolve this issue. Thank you, Nydia

Delay in transfer of funds

When my father passed away in March of 2019 UBS refused to transfer his accounts to my name despite the fact that all of his accounts were listed TOD to me and had been for a decade or more prior to his death. It took a full year and the work of lawyers in Colorado and New Jersey to eventually appoint me as executor of the will and then transfer the accounts to his Estate of which I am sole beneficiary. When dealing with UBS I learned to apply what I learned is called Hanlon's Razor, the aphorism: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity",

User's recommendation: Find a company other than UBS to handle your money.
