Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. My brother and I had to make numerous calls.

I have been trying to transfer my deceased dad's stocks and money at UBS for almost a year now. While the CS reps are friendly, I keep getting bounced around. They give you a verification "test" that you cannot pass because they obviously have you mixed up with someone else. So frustrating.

User's recommendation: Do not use UBS for your finances/stocks because your beneficiaries will go through *** trying to get the estate settled. The WORST!

UBS - Cancelled cashing is charged
Hello, on 23th October, I cancelled one time cashing for 100 CHF on ATM in Luzern. But I noticed that the cancelled 100 CHF cashing is shown on my card bill. Could you please check and delete cancelled 100 CHF?

i got locked out of my on line account. i made 3 calls to online support; two separate women were totally useless and not able to help me at all...very disturbing and disappointing. i made one last call and connected with a man. he was able to correct the problem in just a few minutes. what did he know/do the two previous women couldn't. neither he nor i was able to explain that. i'll let corporate review work on this one. i do know the answer.

Bad service

My sister died November 2021, and I have been trying to help her son get the inheritance from this coming since then. They first wanted a POA, then wanted my nephew to get a doctors note to why he has a POA, which he didn't have.

Then they wanted a conservertorship on my nephew even though he is 50 years old, with a mild mental disorder. They final opened an account for him 3 weeks ago, but none of the money has been transferred into the account. Finally this week they wanted another form, notary and a copy of his drivers license. Now they won't transfer the money because the address on his DL is different from where he currently resides.

His mom died, so he moved from her house to a friends house. So now they won't transfer the funds because the addresses are different. He just needs the money to get into a house and move on with his life.

It isn't even that much money, but you would think they are hanging on to a million dollars instead of a few thousands. God help us in getting them to ever release any funds

Inability to Terminate Annuity & Receive Gunds

I initiated contact via telephone December 21,2021 to terminate an annuity through them I had with John Hancock. It is now January 27,2022 and I am still going back and forth with them to terminate the annuity.

I have had them claim three times the form was incorrectly filled out. They were the ones that filled it out. All I had to do was sign. Everything g must be done via mail or email.

I asked for status updates multiple times via email with no response. I have had to make numerous calls to them to find out status. You can never speak to the same person twice. I tried calling their client relations line to discuss my situation, only to be on hold for 30 minutes before I hung up.

I strongly recommend to all my friends and family to stay away from UBS.

They charge high fees and choose to delay transactions using excuse after excuse. If you are wanting to access your funds with UBS, I recommend you start sooner than later!

UBS sold stock without permission,and are hiding behind the statute of limitations.I f they sell your stock when someone not on the account gives an order to sell,they should be held accountable.,regardless of the time frame.

Too much Fee charged Annually, each transaction and even if you decided to leave

One of the worst financial Institution out in the market when compared to others. I have to move all my Brokerage account from Wells Fargo as I accepted an employment with UBS. They put me in RMA account since I do trade, however my actual trade transaction was less than 10 annually. Also for each trade they charged up to $250/transaction, on top they charge $175 Annual fee and when I decided to move my accounts, they charge another $95/account transfer fee. Basically most of my account went negative balance due to fees on top of all my investment value decreased to 95% as I was scared to even trade, since every trade has huge charges as compared to Wells Trade which have zero trading fee or commission.

Jumping through hoops after parents passed away

Even though all other assets have been distributed as per the will and verification by the family attorney, USB is playing word games with "Executor". UBS investment will have to go to probate court to officially designate a Personal Representative, new term for Executor. The attorney will begin paperwork to be filed, I must sign and have notarized (snail mail) and he will file with the court. The "will" was written in 2016 and updated in 2020 to avoid probate. Now, Probate has to be performed just to satisfy USB. Spend money to get money!
